Send registered mail online — tracked and signed

We are working on launching online registered mail via Posta Brev. The goal is that you can send tracked and signed letters with the same ease as a standard letter — without visiting the post office. Follow along here, or use our regular letter service in the meantime.

Need to send registered mail today? PostNord accepts it at their agents. From 1 January 2026 stamps are no longer accepted as payment — pay at the counter instead.

Registered mail is a letter sent with extra security. It's tracked from posting to delivery, and the recipient has to sign for it in person with photo ID at a PostNord agent. That gives you legally solid proof that the letter was both sent and received.

It's used for contract terminations, legal documents, official correspondence, important reminders and any situation where it matters that the letter actually arrived — and that someone signed for it.

Start like any letter: write in our editor or upload a finished PDF. Fill in the recipient's name and full address. On the delivery step, choose 'Registered' instead of standard or express.

We print on real paper, envelope it and hand it to PostNord as registered mail the same or next business day. A tracking link lands in your inbox and you can follow the letter in real time until it's collected.

Need to send a registered letter to a recipient in another country? We handle international registered mail to most destinations. Enter the recipient's address and country — we calculate the correct postage and send the letter tracked via PostNord and their international postal partners.

Delivery time is 4–10 business days depending on the country, but tracking works the whole way as long as the destination country is connected to the international tracking system.
